Property: Andaz Singapore
Room Type: 37th Floor Studio Suite King

The Andaz Singapore opened in 2017 and we were very excited about our stay in this quirky, and somewhat funky luxury hotel in Singapore.

What I liked:

New and very clean – The property is spotless and very clean. Our room was wonderfully appointed and features some high-end toiletries.

Free snacks and Minibar – As with other Andaz properties, our rate included snacks in the room and the minibar.

The outdoor space – The hotel features a very nice infinity pool on the 25th floor with lounge chairs and sweeping views of the Marina Bay.

What I didn’t like:

Location – The property location is in the quieter Kampong Glam neighborhood. There are plenty of local shops around the hotel, but it’s a bit too far of a walk to most Singapore attractions.

It was OK, I guess…

The food – Our rate included breakfast, which was served in the main restaurant on the 25th floor. The breakfast buffet concept is Singaporean Street Food inspired. Breakfast was decent, but I felt that the food quality and selection was not up to par with other Luxury hotels in the area, like the Grand Hyatt and Shangri-La.
